BBC have lost a pundit as Euro 2024 continues to progress.
Both ITV and the BBC have put together punditry teams featuring beloved ex-players and coaches as well as current players and managers.
ITV have The Overlap hosts Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Roy Keane while the BBC have the Rest is Football hosts Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards.
As the tournament progresses, some pundits have already left their roles and another has confirmed an early departure before the group stage has concluded.
Aston Villa and Scotland national team star Rachel Corsie confirmed on social media that her media duties have concluded following Scotland’s group stage exit from the competition.
She wrote: “Devastated to be going home. Very grateful to @BBCSport for my @EURO2024 experience. Also, thanks to everyone for your kind support.”
Fans flooded her replies stating their disappointment that she would no longer be on their screens.
Here is a selection of their responses.
One fan said: “Very impressed with your insight yesterday. A breath of fresh air! Have a great summer!”
Another wrote with a message to the BBC: “Hold on, terrific analyst, excellent commentary, fresh perspectives and she’s only here for the Scotland game? Get rid of the class clowns and give Rachel some more opportunities please.”
A third fan said: “Highly professional with some excellent analysis on the games covered. Kelly Cates is widely regarded as the best in the business but she now has some competition! Well Done Rachel, look forward to you getting more punditry slots in the future.”
A fourth said: “You were one of the very few Scottish success stories. Informed, knowledgeable and a welcome addition to the pundit line-up. More please!”

Corsie has a Women’s Super League season to prepare for after signing a contract extension at Villa Park in May.
Her exit comes after ITV confirmed that Danny Rohl would also be leaving Germany following the conclusion of his media duties.
The Sheffield Wednesday manager impressed viewers with his insight into the tournament’s fixtures but he will return to England to start pre-season.
