Jude Bellingham waited outside the dressing room to get a Liverpool star’s shirt following Real Madrid’s 2-0 loss at Anfield.
In a game where both Kylian Mbappe and Mo Salah missed penalties, Liverpool returned to the top of the Champions League table thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo.
The Reds are the only side in Europe’s premier club competition with a perfect record, having won all five of their games to take 15 points upon their return to the competition.
Holders Real now find themselves down in 24th in the table with three games remaining.
Bellingham, heavily linked with Liverpool in the past, made his first appearance against the six-time European champions and after the game he had a very specific shirt request.
Cameras in the Anfield tunnel captured Bellingham and some Real youngsters waiting outside the dressing room and in conversation with Ryan Gravenberch as he headed back.
Not too long after, the Dutchman returned with the shirt of Bellingham’s close friend and England colleague Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was on the bench for the clash.
Bellingham, who handed over his shirt from the game, walked back to the Real dressing room with the jersey.

Jude Bellingham was passed Trent Alexander-Arnold’s shirt by Ryan Gravenberch after Real Madrid’s defeat to Liverpool 👀
Alexander-Arnold has recovered from a hamstring problem which has forced him to miss games for England and Liverpool but Conor Bradley deputised well on Wednesday, with a stunning, last-ditch tackle on Mbappe his highlight in a superb display.
Alexander-Arnold is out of contract in the summer and is rumoured to be a top target for Real, where his pal Bellingham moved in 2023.
Bellingham was asked about the possibility of Alexander-Arnold joining him in the Spanish capital in the pre-match press conference but gave a sharp answer.
Bellingham said: “I’ll be by his side with the national team, so that’s guaranteed. He’s a Liverpool player and talking about the future is disrespectful.”
Liverpool now turn their attentions to a huge clash with struggling Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday at Anfield. Arne Slot’s men can move 11 points clear of their title rivals with a win.Featured Image Credit: TNT Sports
