Kieran Trippier is set to leave Newcastle United this summer, according to a report.
Trippier, 33, has entered the final year of his current contract at Newcastle and the club have no plans to hold talks over a new deal.
His inconsistent form coupled with the development of Tino Livramento, who is viewed as the long-term option at right-back, means the board are willing to let the defender leave this summer.
According to The Northern Echo, a Saudi Pro League club is expected to acquire Trippier’s services amid mounting interest.
The report states that at ‘least two clubs’ in Saudi Arabia are looking to sign him, with the Saudi Arabian transfer window now open.
Formal talks are expected to take place in the coming weeks as the Newcastle board look to facilitate a transfer.
Bayern Munich tabled a deal worth around £12.8 million for Trippier in January, which was turned down by Newcastle.
The German giants are not expected to rekindle their interest this summer.

The England international is one of Newcastle’s highest-paid players so a sale would create a significant amount of room on the wage bill as the club aim to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rule (PSR) rules.
He has yet to return for pre-season training, having been granted an extended break following his participation with England at Euro 2024.
He started every game in Germany until England’s final against Spain, where he was replaced by Luke Shaw.
He’s been St James’ Park since January 2022 when he signed from Atletico Madrid.
Trippier has made 92 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals during his spell at the club.
