Patrice Evra has revealed Sir Alex Ferguson’s best-ever Manchester United team-talk where he didn’t mention football ONCE.
Evra was signed by Ferguson back in January 2006 as the player enjoyed eight-and-a-half seasons at Old Trafford, winning several major honours.
He won five Premier League titles and the Champions League, among other trophies.
Evra had the luxury of playing under Ferguson and speaking to former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel on his podcast, the Frenchman recalled the legendary manager’s best-ever Man United team-talk.
And Ferguson didn’t mention football once before the game as he tapped into each players’ life experiences, leaving everyone inside the dressing room with goosebumps.

Speaking on The Obi One Podcast, Evra said: “It’s the best-ever pitch I’ve ever heard in my life because he didn’t talk about football.
“He just picked each individual and talked about their life experiences,” he added, before revealing Ferguson focused on Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney, Anderson and himself.
“He spoke to Carlos Tevez surviving in Buenos Aires, Rooney in Liverpool, Anderson in the favelas in Brazil.
“Before the game we all had goosebumps, and you know what he said… ‘I’ve already won, look at this dressing room, so many different nationalities and you’re all together, go outside and just enjoy it… my trophy is already there’.”
Mikel, who was once linked with Man United, replied: “Wow… that’s amazing!”
Ferguson got the best out of his players during his iconic spell as Man United manager, where he helped them to 13 league titles, not to mention two Champions Leagues.
