A shock club has entered the race to sign former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial amid links to Greek club AEK Athens.
Martial left United as a free agent this summer having spent eight years at the club.
The once highly-rated forward could have gone to almost any team in the world when he joined United, but has struggled to find a new club over the summer.
But now, it is being reported that that a shock club has come out of nowhere to try and secure the Frenchman’s signature.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Flamengo have made contact with Martial as they consider him one of the top options to replace current striker Pedro who has suffered an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament.
