The 10 most valuable goalkeepers in world football have been revealed.

Over the years, clubs have been splashing the cash to bring in a goalkeeper who can win them matches.

Back in 2018, Liverpool broke the record for the most expensive goalkeeper ever when they paid €62.5 million to bring Alisson Becker to the club from AS Roma.

However, that figure was swiftly overtaken in the same window when Chelsea bought Kepa Arrizabalaga for €80 million.

The Spaniard remains the most expensive goalkeeper in history.

Now, the top 10 list of the most valuable goalkeepers in world football has been revealed by Transfermarkt.

There were no spaces for the likes of Alisson and Kepa as it is Porto’s number one Diogo Costa who claimed the top spot with a market value of €45 million.

AC Milan stopped Mike Maignan is also valued at €45 million, with Paris Saint Germain and Italy star Gianluigi Donnarumma completing the top three having been priced at €40 million.

Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel, Manchester City’s Ederson and Andre Onana of Manchester United followed as they all have the same value of €40 million.

The Spaniard is valued at €35 million by Transfermarkt.

Real Madrid and Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is currently recovering from an ACL injury is ninth.
